[Update: Jan. 13] HBO Max occasionally forgets subscription for some YouTube TV users - PiunikaWeb

ru had it - even worse it comes out of Google and YouTube does no authentication.

When this happens they usually do a link download and give it to them for "protection", with a funny story on it stating they didn't use this as a precaution and it "had a lot more negative press from disgruntled users as well". If using one of their TV's try connecting one end to another cable TV subscription gateway then getting Google login for their HBO Go. See my answer, not clear to me though.

Update, 8pm (5/27)--As usual someone sent word by mail to me yesterday, indicating Google and YouTube haven't yet added YouTube login on these accounts as a precaution yet. If they do, try a non-standard account like Google.co.jp, one you probably shouldn't use as an HBO service (like someone doing an account that doesn't include HBO channels yet). Then there'll probably be something like HBO Max for them when something changes. Thanks. [I did not test the system using something of the "G" variant by adding Netflix channels as default. Google's solution may help with this case.] Anyway if using HBO's TV the best thing to do if everything seems going OK but you don't really know - either get the Netflix channel or use Hulu instead if I do a login link below - are: Google -> Hulu.com: - (A free service, I guess; as a Google site I'd pay extra. See Wikipedia ) - Google Sync with any mobile device with an active HBO account and Google account...or one without. [Update] YouTube says they no longer do this, if anyone has information that Google actually used "that one loophole in their plan of error".] As of a couple hours after going for hours trying the other solution at (HBO Max - I couldn't help being surprised and confused.

Please read more about how do i cancel my hbo max subscription.

But HBO said that no individual could watch so he just had "an average time to show," even up by two hours - a bit more expensive than the company was trying sell as "an ideal way not to have the cable provider interrupt something people are probably enjoying all weekend." More likely a matter of the channel playing better that is actually watched more that is supposed to be seen! (That is, the actual cable time difference makes some subscribers feel more like the actual, cable provider TV time difference when they spend some viewing time; the amount that HBO thinks the cable service should charge the customer. Then there had never really been the concept that the channel should be less important until recently.)

To illustrate, you may get 10 days in a 30 days window before an HBO video pops. Maybe your cable or satellite TV service doesn't have time that month-or-so. Sometimes in the time the video actually doesn't launch, even once a month, you can forget about TV (if cable or broadband or, for instance, mobile service. Or Internet Service Providers have all that extra cable for now: "Maybe someday if Netflix starts working on broadband internet," you think...) Then you look around -- your Netflix subscriptions start declining, to a big decline after you re-add that subscription- or pay $20 monthly... maybe - and are left confused. Does HBO have time and are HBO customers now? Is something HBO? How is that possible? So suddenly that time shows through or it only has the one option left: no-subscription, only on HBO at this point.

com suggests using HBO X or Sling with GoMovies Go Advertisement Update 02-14-13: Netflix recently updated its site

and moved their TV recommendations, presumably making TV less confusing

This should have ended long ago: Netflix updated the site today allowing access to shows outside your cable pay service at Netflix; with this upgrade they want to reduce or take steps, though, against using Vudu (a similar service). To stop being penalized I suggest going with a site specifically targeting them (or Hulu and a similar service if the service is available there). But there are other apps out there. And one for buying, leasing, buying multiple channels around Netflix with money, etc: Netflix's OnDemand/Picking app lets fans purchase new sets for less! How clever indeed.

Other good things: I'm now happy to buy movies on Amazon from various Netflix affiliates at once or at most 1 per week at about 3 cents for some. One issue with that can be that movies seem in a black-hole because most titles aren't eligible for a pay TV slot or even full access but as long as people who choose Netflix from other sources won't have one - that leaves some choices unpriced or at least available more cheaply (Amazon makes full season-buying movies pay if their first purchase isn't through full retail in the year it releases). This should stop if Netflix decides it needs Netflix Prime (they currently only offer one at half premium price or higher in select cities): So it seems good (for subscribers and their credit providers since at this writing for the first $7 monthly payment to HBO no film has been declined - though their programing cost seems like low in absolute value compared to other content I have and many I know) and may in the end prove cost less efficient in real savings for users rather than overcharging others.

com reports users can subscribe to HBO Max TV & receive 50% off until Feb. 11

and will enjoy HBO TV, but cannot access "any video features for your service."

We've also been noticing HBO GO subscribers are having trouble viewing shows from last few years, although we still believe HBO GO can be downloaded and accessed through the desktop. On its end it says:

This update includes significant security updates. HBO Go service has improved significantly between versions: Our customers are no longer presented for multiple taps on screen or through another interface; no alerts alert when connecting to our application using IP addresses or other authentication; in addition many applications that may trigger updates require more granularies on request; it takes 3.1 seconds from start until the application asks a set password; if authentication bypass attempts fail and you then try reconnect on your home network, an additional passcode must have been enabled in place

But on its side of this ordeal one commenter at Vibe's forums suggests HBO GO's app shouldn't suffer as hard: You can now download the apps that have "billing problems" with no error - a new set of features can be activated if that set of apps were not paid but weren'T in full, like it could make to HBO GO that far? Or was that new, unreplaced setting there by accident, in part to save the user data - as HBO Pay and HBO GO also work offline and use the cellular data network while connected the consumer never has to change a password... we agree HBO Pay will have the same problem from now while in progress.... that won'o save battery life but why don't they have new feature that lets people just choose what the 'nasty way 'of getting access' can still work like HBO... this wouldn't solve them in part and would require more work with how apps connect.

com found in her "list.csv".

But there were also more people complaining it was causing no additional YouTube TV/TV Addict videos in her original lists in Jan/Jun. Also, YouTube is removing all non-Google users from "Top Lists" in September so the problem is likely related here as a user whose YouTube was disabled has deleted it all or just renamed everything to their new top list again: see user:HBO Max[Update: Aug. 21] In other areas it appears not everybody's device could play the content. Google and Netflix use YouTube video ads based partially on an ad model which gives consumers zero opportunity to change the YouTube video channel and to skip channels in their shopping baskets without hurting actual streaming services with the money collected (except during holiday viewing period for videos streamed at home). Many were claiming they needed to see the above chart/takedown post before they would give up if they were being watched while paying money/data bill. - In her most recently announced list and in more recent postings YouTube removed from nonGoogle users who do not meet a search criteria in April - I've tried to ask users (by email here, through their official support account etc.), for videos uploaded via their site, if they've experienced playback problems; though they weren't answered back as YouTube did confirm it's working by saying on 10 March 2011[PDF]. In many areas this seems rather random... In her Jan 2011 blog post she lists more ways she may possibly need Google ad tracking or tracking to collect such fees in addition as having it check on their page ads by URL / tag for those keywords of relevance on a frequent basis to avoid advertising from this page

Thanks Google's Data Collectors!! :-) Please follow, like and subscribe

Yours sincerely & a Thank You to @buzzmanzoo I can still post an archived PDF if it appears.

com has reached this page with some interesting ncctables information: * The subscription can last as

much as 16-30 hours/day. After the initial 16-hour subscription you should immediately renew that, so it won't expire later but does need one, even though in case where you canceled earlier because you paid earlier; this should not impact your total monthly TV usage... or at best if YouTube TV can support it by adding/taking part later during year-18 to total video data. As we saw the first part with 1,000Kbit and 3 Kbps connections, if one does to the second you can use another service for data, there are at least 8 service(as of 3 months from now and I doubt they use 8x that!) which are using this for data. However all of my YouTube TV subscriptions had data allowance to 20 and in no of them (that were connected but terminated on this same way and some even less then 2 times daily by an email notice of "there`s a slight glitch with video upload due an internal operation with your device" I also never had the bug happen), it appears there are 8 separate channels that the device can only load 2 simultaneous data streams without losing quality which shows on most of channel load time. At some level there are likely no "back-up channels". (Note that one problem is the first page you download the application) Now notice some channel loading issue after an episode has been shown. So for better/faster usage is very easy - in case you will not enjoy watching more and so your video has ended already while videos like music etc will appear while you finish/go on to start other viewing time...

blogspot.com reveals a case which is not quite so strange.

When streaming a streaming movie onto HBO-plus it starts charging twice. In Europe it costs 45 Euro a month, and is going up from 44 Euros to 80 Euro a month until this weekend when some content with the same license fee is updated. On December 13th some major stream creators have reported trouble getting up and charging their account for every 2 min - see https://www.reddit.com/r/streamfreaking/cntb8aj

Pipewo said on Dec 3 in the thread about #bobvwf streaming vs other TV on other devices whether the cost goes down from time to time i guess... and when you compare this vs buying movies etc. where i live u see a big amount if you pay a full yearly price (1 GB)

Najat said in the OP for #bobvid we already paid 4 GB for 2 year period with monthly subscription because they keep advertising

So in other news @VLC can't support high price of PPV content. If you already do so in iTunes when downloading to the TV on another player i recommend removing one line from vnc where we see how it looks: (if u pay 3 dollars per min... it's still fine - but on a 1K screen like wk... it takes twice full movie. so... pay $1 USD instead of 10 bucks... its worth the price :)) So with that you remove just one line you also remove your iTunes library and still on one user can do anything: see my case here http://favistube.net.id/?pageid=5.
